What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pa

I am currently getting divorced. My wife has retained legal counsel. I haven't yet have spoken to a lawyer about what options I have.

I spoke to my wife's lawyer the other day and he said that he can't talk to me if I have already retained counsel. He can only talk to my lawyer.

Is this true?

Unless you act as your own attorney, then that is correct. I do not suggest that you act as your own counsel.
