Tell your son to stop breaking the law and complete his probation without committing any other crimes. Then he won't see the probation officer again.

Maybe, just maybe, the probation officer is mean in order to act as a deterrent to further criminal behavior.

I like Pro's suggestion too. That one's a true life lesson. Sounds like your son could use one.

Have a good day! :)

Can my son change probation officers since she says unfair and hurtful things

he is on probation for possession of cds
From OP's other thread. I will ASSume that "cds" is Controlled Drug with intent.

MommaJames, Your son committed a serious crime. A P.O is not his buddy. A P.O. is NOT required to be nice. And you can not request a new P.O. because s/he is nasty...

If you would really like to help your child..Go back to school.

I agree with everyone else here- you need to let your little boy grow up, quit violating the law and obey his PO.

I swear if I had a nickle for every mama call I get whining about how mean we are to their darling little son I would be a billionarie.

I would not take unprofessional treatment like you describe.

Recommend he asks for his probation to be revoked and serve out his time in jail/prison. That will teach the PO to be nice.
