So why are you so prickly lately?

You're right. I've been a total creep lately.
Too much litigation; not enough mediation.
Too many divorces, guardianships and VA cases (virtually no Legal Aid in the area, and many sad cases = too many pro bono sad cases; so many elderly people in dire need & no resources ... you can't just walk away).
I'm pounding people over the head to get them to agree/cease/cooperate (not a good mediation style, but successful); I'm getting vicious (get them by the vitals, and their hearts and minds will follow).
Also, there are fewer & fewer attorneys that I can tolerate, never mind like, or even trust.

You're right. Saying 'prickly' is kind; I'd have shortened it by two letters.
Sorry for jumping on you.

I hope things get better for you. Sounds like you need a vacation.
