i live in the state of california, when i was 15 i got permission to date an old family friends son who was 22 at the time, we have been together for over 1 a year and we love each other very much, altho we have gone threw some rough patches, about 3 months ago she decided to take away her permission from us dateing she did not give a reason and we have not broken any laws nor family rules, she went from planning our wedding to ignoreing our love literally over night, my father recently left too so idk if its a "man" prejidice thing or something, any how im going to be 17 in dec. and he has turned 23 in august, so we r about 5 to 6 yrs apart, my question is, is there any legall way for me to continue to date him legally with out her permision and her not being able to stop us if she tried, i must say she still lets us talk. we just want a few dates here in there, 14 mnths to wait is along time but we r willing to wait for each other but its still painfull. please help and give me the best advice you can, and if there is not a legall way for us to just date, is there any way i can marry him with out permission?

Are your parents on crack?!?! Who would agree to a kid dating an adult?!

my question is, is there any leagll way for me to continue to date him legally with out her permision
No. When you are 18 (and he is 25) you can move out and live happily ever after ... though, in all reality, as you grow older he will become disinterested. But, besides that, mom can say "no." If you date him behind her back HE can go to jail for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. If the two of you engage in any fondling, groping "petting" or sexual activity of any stripe, HE can go to PRISON.

And, no, you cannot marry him without permission.

So, either you wait in silence for a another year or so and hope he's waiting for you at the other end (statistically unlikely), or start looking at kids closer to your age.

Is English your second language? If not, please stop using "text speak". And write in a way that we can understand without getting our 12 yo's to interpret. Thanks.

Advice: at least 3 forms of birth control. One of them being "lock you in your room until you are 18".

Absolutely.

The legal way to date without your guardian's permission is to wait until you're 18. Then you can date to your heart's content.

Maybe your mother/guardian understood that she can have problems with the law if she will condone your illegal relationship. I really don't understand how on earth she allowed it in the first place.

I had to check this - the age of consent in many states is 16 or 17, so they wouldn't have a LEGAL problem when OP turns 17 in many states. However, you are correct - in CA the age of consent is 18. Furthermore, the difference in ages makes it an even more serious crime:

California - Age of Consent

When I was 15 I had a 22 year old "boyfriend."

Today I drove by the highway exit that led to his apartment and got really, really creeped out.
