Just wanted to post an update - I called the local police department. They are sending someone. That's all they said.

An officer was just here. He asked a few questions and took the PC. He said it will go into evidence and, at some point, detectives will look at it. He has no idea when that will be.

I've decided that when the customer calls looking for his machine I'm going to say "the police confiscated your computer, here's there number and the case number" and just leave it at that. I'm not telling him why or how or anything else. Hopefully that will keep any craziness that he may have in him from getting to me. If he is truly crazy that won't do any good, but if it's only partial it may help. I guess I'll find out in the next couple of days, whenever he calls.

If you feel at all threatened by this person. Call the police immediately. If he does threaten you, get a restraining order.

Again, you did the right thing. It is a very sad thing to see people standing by when children are being victimized.

OT: I wanted to barf when I heard that there were Paterno supporters wearing white. Screw Joe Paterno, what about the kids he allowed to be victimized because of his silence

the best thing you can say, "the police confiscated items from my store. here's the detective number and case number they left me".
