We just started our separation process and he is currently renting a house and the kids and I stayed in the house.

He is paying the mortgage since I was a stay at home mom. Does that give him the right to come over make a sandwich, coffee and watch tv? He claims he is spending time with the kids.

What rights do I have?

We live in CO

Who owns the house?

he does. I have stayed home for 7 years and I have to depend on him for now.
You have your answer then.

He is eating his food, watching his tv and using his electricity. If you want anything different, get a job and find a place you can call your own.

No, you don't have to depend on him.

Without you having court orders giving you sole occupancy rights of the marital home, then he is welcome to come and go (in HIS house) as he pleases.

Happily Married Honey!!!!

Sorry the same can't be said for you:cool:
I'm happily married, also. Never divorced.

I live in CO, also, and am very familiar with our family law legal system. Now that you have been so very rude, I don't feel the need to do anything for you in future.
