Student A is the child of the parent doing the questioning and Student B is another child in the same class. Can the parent of Student A question Student B about a bullying incident, while on school grounds, without first getting consent from the parent of Student B? Both Student A and Student B were victims in the same bullying incident. Is this a violation of FERPA or another law if a parent asks another parent’s child questions about a school incident that happened to him/her?
