I am a 16 year old girl who lives in California. My parents are divorced and have 50-50 custody of me. I would like to permanently live with my father, but I am afraid that my mom will refuse to let me move. What are my legal rights in this situation - am I old enough to choose who I live with?

Does anyone even TRY to search for anything?

Same answer as the last few million times this question has been asked - you get to decide when you're an adult (18 in CA).

Until then, a judge MIGHT listen to your viewpoint depending on how mature you are - but one of the parents needs to have a case open for that to happen. And, in all probability, there still needs to be a change of circumstances for that to happen - and your desire to live with one parent won't be enough.
