help! trustee mistake in sep. agreement

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NYS

In my divorce papers it states my ex-husband is to be named trustee for my life insurance policy for our daughter. That is not right - I'm not sure if it was over-looked by BOTH my lawyer and I or if his lawyer put it in after we signed the papers. His lawyer has already filed the papers with the court. How do I get this corrected? I literally just received my final copy of the separation agreement. My lawyer has been trying to get a copy for me for 2 weeks now. I need this corrected before its completely finalized. Help!

He is a drug addict. I have friends that would actually see to her financial welfare. There was no hearing - our pre-trial "discussions" went into overtime, but no hearing. had all resolved I thought and I'm sure this wasnt in there as it was one of my top concerns. He went through his father's insurance policy of $60,000 in 2 months with crack... I don't trust him... it was NOT supposed to say that... how to fix before divorce final?

If it's not final, have your attorney fix it.

i dont think its final - its the separation agreement before she "draws up" the divorce papers... just feel panicked right now. don't know if she can reverse it b/c it has both of our signatures on it... do you? ... btw, thanks for your time...
