What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I need to file a motion in my summary dissolution case. I need to ask the judge to seal the record. Yes, I have a good reason for it. I also need to ask him to dissolve the first marriage of my ex husband and I as we were instructed to marry again after his identity change and placement in a witness protection program.

How do I write this motion? I can't afford an attorney. I'm doing everything myself.

You can file a "request to seal record". While you may think you have a good reason to seal a record the court probably will not.
Read OP's hx. Considering that there's a witness protection program issue with her ex, it's entirely possible that she might be able to make a case. They don't put people in the witness protection program for protection from jaywalkers.

If the link I gave isn't helpful or if you can't find a 'request to seal record', follow the advice you received in your other thread.

And, in the future, please keep all your posts together. It is a real pain when people keep opening new threads for every question.

I agree with you, but I think that she needs an attorney...or at least needs to consult with one. I am not at all certain that she needs a divorce under the previous name unless she wants to try to take back her previous identity, and if that is the case, I am not sure that it's wise.
