What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio

So I got married to a girl on August 4th. My dad gave me a property worth about $40,000 about 2 months ago. Well now we are getting a divorce. The property is in my name. Is she able to take any of the equity of the land or trailor? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Did you spend any money on it in the last two months? Anything to which she would be entitled would be extremely minimal unless you made improvements.

And, even if they made improvements using marital funds, her rights to the property would be limited to a share of the improvement value, not the land or gifted property. If at all possible, non-marital assets (savings from before the marriage, inheritance, gift, etc) should be used for taxes, repairs, etc on the property.
