I was recently involved in a fire service promotional exam that included an event that I can only describe as completely subjective. Let me explain..
The event goes like this, the candidate is given 8 questions that range from what have you done to prepare for promotion to how do you get along with other people and 6 other pointless questions. Then 12 captains get together in a room an negotiate a score based on discussion and subjective thoughts not anything objective.
Is this legal?
