What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas.
last night got pulled over. had 3 friends in the car, two open beers all of us underage. none had to blow a PBT but we all got a court date for MIP. I'm 3 months left of a 6 month probation and am curious on what to expect at court and any advice that can be given. should I consult an attorney? call my PO? (I see her before my court date though) I'm scared I may have ruined my chances of enlisting into the marine corps. would I expect extended probation? a fine and community service?

You need an attorney. Seriously.

What was your original charge? The MIP won't keep you out of the USMC. Felonies can keep you out, or misdemeanors that are for violent offenses. If you have those, you would have to get a waiver to enter the service.

You will have consequences of violating your probation, as well as getting these new charges. Probation is not hard, especially for a juvenile. You need to realize, if you want to have a successful future, you need to pull your head out of your butt and stop breaking the law.

Call your probation officer in the morning. First thing in the morning. I'm a lot happier when my clients tell me than when I find out later from other sources. And your PO will find out.

it was possession for marijuana. What do you think this new charge will do for my probation?

You are probably not getting into the Marines.

You should have a backup plan.

Just being honest, nothing personal, but realize how many people want to enlist and the number of spaces available is in decline.

The armed services are not a place of last resort for people looking to fix their lives, certainly not these day. It is a honor for which many people are competing.

What do you have that distinguishes you? In the time between now and when you try to enlist, you really need to polish your brass to have any chance.

Absolutely true. The OP is competing with many, many people who haven't screwed up twice, or even once.
