What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Minnesota

I went to look at an apartment advertised at a set price. When I expressed interest and asked for an application, a higher price than that advertised was entered. I did not question it right away, but waited until I got home to check the ad again. And, indeed the price was $40 higher.

Can I get the apartment for the advertised price?:(

What did the landlord say when you asked them about the discrepancy?
