yes, i understand i made a mistake however you all are not getting to my point, my point is wont the judge be mad that he spent all this time intruding in my business to find out that i have court for something that is not even about this. the judge will now have to go search for this record when it makes no sense since my ex is only going for visits NOT CUSTODY!
Yes, everyone here gets your point but you are not getting theirs. It does not matter if he went out of his way to find this information. The point is that endangering a child (whether or not it is the child that you share with this person) is a reflection on your character and can help him to gain additional visitation with the child. Even though he is going for visitation and not full custody, that information is pertinant to the case. I understand that you may be upset that this information was discovered by him but it is public record. Also, any information concerning an individual that involves child endangerment can be brought into any case involving that individual and a child (doesn't matter if it is the child involved in the situation that was deemed to be child endangerment). If you found out your child's father had endangered another child I do not believe for one second that you would not bring it up in court against him.

She has, in fact, tried to use the fact that another child was injured in Dad's home (not Dad's fault, btw) against him.

Can he do this???????

I just received a letter in the mail yesterday. it was another statement my ex filed in court about the ticket i had gotten. he stated in the letter "i firmly believe my son would be better taken care of if he were in my custody and under my supervision until his mother can provide a safer environment.".. can he do that? Just simply write a letter so the judge reads it and give him custody? There should be standard procedures and its clear he is not following or doing any of them can he just write a letter like that?

Another Issue

Since he has taken it upon himself to dig up my "dirt".. I am now pressing that he must have 3 months supervised visitation and random drug tests. In our local community, they just did a major drug bust and my brother in law was part of it (you all know the one my EX WANTED TO BE THE SUPERVISOR). I was told my ex was the one hiding my wanted brother in law, and since my brother in law is in jail i believe my ex is now in charge of the drug dealing... how can i present this?

I would worry more about your own legal issues, and getting a vehicle so that you can safely transport the children.

Well, when he gets custody, she'll have fewer children to transport and need fewer car seats. Maybe they'll all be safer.

you all are just "assuming" he could get custody but not answering any of my legal questions
Legally speaking, he can file an amendment to his original petition. As long as it's filed and served to you, it doesn't need to be on official forms.

Your criminal record and continued endangerment of the children in your care will not help you.
