Can I get spousal support when I am just separated, not divorced? I dont have a job and have no way to support myself.
I will be living with my parents soon. My husband wants to leave me to live with his sister who hates me and tried to harm me before, even pointed a gun in my face. He said if I wont let her live with us he will leave me, and I said I am afraid she will hurt me if she moves in.
He just walks away when she does these hateful things.
So if he leaves or I have to leave for my safety can I get sposal support?
Can I prevent her from moving in even if he wants her there?
can I get a restraing order on her even if he invites her?

How long have you been married? Why aren't you working? Are you able to work? If she threatens you, call the police. File a complaint. If it is an actual threat, she will be charged and you will be protected by a TPO. You cannot prevent your husband from bringing in someone to the marital residence anymore than he can prevent you from bringing in someone.

If the court determines that she is a danger to you, you can get a restraining order. If that happens, your husband can no longer invite her in to the house.

Support depends on many factors. How long have you been married? Why are you not working? How much money does he make? Did you work previously?

My husbands mother died and left him one fourth of her house which is up for sale and he does not to give me any of the money he will get when that house i sold.
I am 44 years old and never did anything but fast food, I have no high school diploma. he has left me before to live with his mother and sister and he left me in a homeless shelter and I live with my parents when he dumped me there before too

I mean this with honest care: You need to take action to help youtself. GED, DL, higher education...JOB. Seriously...Stop expecting this "hubby" to have your back.

YOu really need to change your situation. Do you live near a bus line? Why don't you learn to drive?

So you could work at a minimum wage job and have in the past. What does your husband do for a living? How long have you been married? How much does your husband earn?

You could bike to work. I'm 57 and do so. Once you've been working a while, you could maybe pick up a cheapo used car.
