What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Colorado
What is the quickest timeframe I can expect to get back a judge signed legal separation agreement or at least a stipulation separation order in Colorado? I have been separated for over a year and would like to buy a house instead of renting and have found out I cannot get a loan until I have one of the above. Thank you for your help!:(

If you buy a house before your divorce is final, it will be marital property. Are you ok with that?
Wait a second. OP says that he needs a legal separation order in order to get a loan. if he has a legal separation, wouldn't the house be his separate property?

To answer OP's question, timing varies from state to state and from county to county. Best bet is to ask your court clerk how long it takes to get on the docket in your county and how long it usually takes the judge to issue the orders.
