What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CALIFORNIA

My adopted child is a special needs child with learning dissabilities and was enrolled in special ed.

In his Jr High term he started having severe abdominable pains which were left undiagnosed for many months 8 to 9 months.

During his senior year the school was unsupportive in his plight and were discriminatory (imo) in handling his IAP process. ( i will explain this later )

under the advice of our therapist , we made a formal request under the AB 3632 State law.

This law provides guidlines on addressing the mental needs of a student in school. there are strict time limits in this law that are meant to make sure that the needs of the child/student are not ignored and are not delayed.

The school waited far too long to address our request for the AB 3632 process.

is it worth / reasonable to sue based on these delays because the school did ignore the needs of the child and violated the law in not following the AB 3632 guidelines???

In his Jr High term he started having severe abdominable pains which were left undiagnosed for many months 8 to 9 months.
