What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IL
I requested some information under the FOIA act in the state of IL for a city in IL and the City that I requested it from had someone call me 7 day later after I made my request and told me that they were working on getting me the info but only had one person working in that area and that was back on Dec 9 2011. I sent them a 2nd request on DEC 21 2011 and to this date they have not sent me the info; what can I do next?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

It appears as if the non-response could be considered a denial. File an administrative appeal.

It becomes a denial when they quit responding. He has a denial...file an admin appeal.

2 months is outrageous.
