When seeing an attorney for a consultation, how much information do you give?
If you have not actually retained the lawyer yet, is everything still confidential?

While everything you tell even your potential attorney in regards to seeking out legal advice could be considered protected, that does not mean you just say everything.

Let the attorney lead. He'll ask questions and such about the things he wants to know.
