What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

We are in middle of divorce, I would say, my ex now realize she won't get all she wants in the divorce (she had strong sense of entitlement), and I am still paying mortgage, her insurance etc so it is beneficial for her to drag things longer.

She refuse to give me her finical documents(actual I don't care, our finance is very simple), just as a procedure, it will be a road blocker. Also she claim paper work I gave her is incomplete, so the discover is incomplete.

First, how can I prevent her from delay divorce? We both filed for divorce 8 month ago.

Second, do we need agree, or settle all finical issues before divorce? We own a small flat overseas (I paid and still paying everything, almost), she always refused to sell it and the market is also very bad now, difficult to see.

Thanks,

You could file to bifurcate the matter. That is, you can get the divorce and leave the financial matters pending. The cost of that might be greater than the cost of simply proceeding with the divorce, though.

Thanks, mistoffolees.

Can you elaborate a little bit more why leave finical matters behind will cause more later?

More important, and paper to file to court to bifurcate the case?

Thanks a lot!
