You obviously do not know the law, and that is why you can't cite anything to support what you say (not that there is anything out there to support what you say ;)). So move along now.

For those who ARE interested in the current state of the LAW as it applies to book scanning, you may wish to visit the following Authors Guild site and read the Google case, which details quite nicely copyright law and copyright holder's rights: http://www.authorsguild.org/advocacy/articles/settlement-resources.html.

And finally, I am curious, davidmcbeth - Were you kicked off the other forum for posting nonsense? Did you come up with the idea of trolling FA all on your own?
