Auto Theft Charges

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA.

Can a lender for an auto file a complaint of theft for non payment of the vehicle, a warrant issued and charges brought against me? The vehicle sat in my company parking lot for 4 months and on the street at home for 2 months and has not been used since 09/2011. they have not tried to repo it and it has not been hidden from them.

Generally no, it is strictly a civil case.
