What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Nevada

I was misdiagnosed with epilepsy and COPD and treated for both for close to 10 years. The meds have put me in the hospital dozens of times and even put me on life support at least 3 times. since finding out I never had the conditions, last month, Ive changed meds and started getting better immediately but most of the damage is done and the years of pain and suffering for myself and my children is tremendous. I need to find out if I have a malpractice suit because someone needs to pay for this mistake.

did the diagnosing physician(s) act in good faith? Meaning did any of your test results indicate that you could be suffering from the two conditions? Or did they just decide that they should diagnose you w/ something and pull those two things out of a hat?

What sort of permanent damage do you have? What condition do you really have?

I'm no doctor, but a friend of mine is a JD/MD. You've piqued his interest.

If you were in the ICU 3 times, you were likely examined by several apex-level specialists, who acquiesced in your treatment. It is highly unlikely that your meds/treatment were outside the standards of care.

I really cannot conceive of a situation where a misdiagnosis of epilepsy/COPD
lands you on life-support (presumably intubation and ventilation) three times. We really are not that stupid.
