I would like to know how to go about getting a house That a friend of mine who is disabled purchased with her money, back from her guardian and put it in someone else's name. Her current guardian is strung out on drugs and is abusive. She has proof where she paid for the house. also her current guardian is suffering from Alzheimer's and cannot remember when bills are due what has been paid or not. We have been helping her all we can but she wants the house in her name and him out of her house and life. We are in the process of hiring a attorney on Monday.

why was the house ever put into the guardians name? Is there a trust, by chance, where the guardian is trustee?

At the time of the purchase she felt like it would be best to be in his name. I don't believe there is a trust. I told her she is going to have to sue him in civil court. I just wanted to get some input before we go to the lawyers office. Its a big mess. Her disability check comes in his and her name. his name is on the bank accounts. His memory is going to the point he cant remember from one hour to the next what he has told you. I think we are going to have him committed for evaluation. Well thanks for the input.

Why is the friend in need of a Guardian? Why is the friend on disability? Who are you in this...just a friend or a bF/GF?
