Being dropped from Insurance

Like I said before - i know many people who have had that piece of paper to say they are married and it was as valuable as the toilet paper in my bathroom.

With all due respect, I think (opinion only) that you have an asinine view on the matter. I have shown why your marriage IS legal, but as has been pointed out many times over, it is your illogical view on the matter that is causing your current problem.

If the paper doesn't matter from an "emotional" standpoint, but it can matter from a practical standpoint, then, in a logical universe, doesn't it make more sense to actually GET that piece of paper?

Zigner - i see your point - - i just don't feel as though a piece of paper should be what dictates our love, our marriage, our relationship. Maybe I would feel different if I was younger. I don't mean to sound negative against "the license". I just never thought it was needed. I know - if we had it NOW it would resolve this.

It doesn't. Nobody said it does. All is does is to solemnize that love, marriage and relationship in the eyes of the state.
