What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

Going on 2 years now with divorce proceedings. Spouse still has not filed for final judgment yet. What are my legal options because I think she is stalling because she is getting child support and alimony from me. Is there sometype of time frame or something that I can somehow get this divorce finalized...

Child support will not stop until the child is emancipated. Why haven't you filed for a final hearing?

Because I was told from my lawyer that since she filed first that she is the one that needed to file for final judgment. I understand about child support part. Am I being mislead from my lawyer?
