what are my rights to claim property husband inherited outside of U.S.? i intend to file a divorce. we only live together 1 + years out of 20 years marriage.

Absolutely nothing. You have no rights to your husband's INHERITED property. That is his and his alone. In addition it being outside the US can give you major problems because the court can not determine the ownership of that property.
