What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

1. Since court orders are black and white, my ex and his "family" want to sign my son up for a sport. There are times when it will fall on my schedule. My son has expressed interest but I dont think its right that they can do that. Can i refuse to allow him to be signede up for events my ex wants to put him in since its not court ordered that i have to allow it?

2. My ex wants his 6 week summer vaca to run consecutive, i dont. guess the judge will have to decide, what do judges normally rule out on for summer vaca?

3. with the above question, i heard through a grapevine my ex and his "family" want to sign my son up for boys and girls club during his summer vaca. can i rule against that happening? they dont want to put my name down to pick him up since its not my summer but i dont want his "wife" or other people allowed to pick up my son for things such as this.

1. He can sign up the child. You don't have to take child to events that occur on "your" time. You're being a truly marvelous co-parent.

2. What does the ocurt order state about the summer time? Judge could go either way. You're being a truly marvelous co-parent.

3.He certainly can. And you don't get to dictate what happens on Dad's time. You're being a truly marvelous co-parent.

It goes both ways then. I can sign up my son for things that are to occur during HIS parenting time then...correct?! :)
Court order doesnt say specifically when. Just says father shall have 6 weeks during the summer. Him and his attorney are pushing for it to start july 1st and run consecutive but i will fight that because i would like him also.
my son expressed concerns about my ex "wife" yelling at him and telling him to stop fighting and being rude to him. she cant talk to him tht way and we wont be allowing her to parent my son while the other parent is at work.

No but I heard a new Resident Evil is coming out this fall. , if you like Johnny Depp's quirky movies you could go see him.

Waiting to see Hunger Games after I read the book.

I forgot about the Depp movie - thanks for the reminder.
It was going to be Hunger Games, but my butt starts complaining after about 100 minutes of movie theater seating.

I highly recommend this approach! I personally enjoyed the movie and I felt like it did a decent job of telling the story so that a "non reader of the books" would be able to follow it, but the book was still better!
