A good family movie we just watched last night, is We Bought A Zoo, it's based on a true story.
Really? I thought about picking it up the last time I was in town. I do like Matt Damon. He was quite good in Contagion. I like seeing him play regular guys.

I am trying to see all of the comic book hero movies before I see The Avengers. Little dude and I are on a mission!

The Kids saw "The Five-Year Engagement" last weekend, and said it dragged through the middle but had funny parts. ;)

haven't seen that yet but have seen Hunger Games. Definitely need to finish the book before you see it -- or anyone sees it. Dark Shadows (Johnny Depp and Tim Burton) looks interesting. My one child is a huge Burton fan. LOVES HIM. Saw Zookeeper. The younger child liked that movie. Good for talking animal movie.

Not a big fan of horror so won't see Cabin in the Woods. Avengers looks interesting and it was filmed in Cleveland. What else? Anyone watch The Big Bang Theory on television?

LittleCSO saw the Hunger Games and immediately insisted I buy her the books, which I did. Now she's been up till 11 every night devouring them. YAY!!

I'm going read them as soon as she finishes.....I haven't seen the movie.

Younger child loves The Big Bang -- so do I. You might find it on demand. I find it humorous and it has a great cast. My child loves the theme song... And it all started with a big bang -- BANG!

Books rock. If she's done with the first book -- start reading. The movie follows the book pretty directly so we won't give away the ending. I will say this -- by book 3 end, you will have been on a roller coaster ride. It is definitely an interesting series.

Side note: The series is among the top five books banned/censored across the country.

I watch it frequently, and wish I could be BFFs with Amy.
You know Amy is actually the only one of the cast who actually understands ALL of the scripts -- the actress has a Phd in neuroscience or something. Blossom grew up!

ETA: Yep neuroscience!

Wow....I think I'll start tonight. I'm going to cheat and get it from audible, I think. I like to knit and read, drive and read, etc**************

I am listening to Hunger Games right now. I always get the books on tape. The little tree hopper just bought it. I can't wait to get back to it.
