Hello,

If I have won a judgement in an Unlawful Detainer case, can I collect any of that judgement money from my ex tenant that receives income from Social Security?

Any remedy you have is going to have enough of a limitation that the target still has enough money to live on. If the sole income is social security, you will probably not collect. It is possible (once the money is in an account), but unlikely.

Social security benefits cannot be garnished, nor bank accounts levied that contain only social security benefits, for consumer debts. Unpaid rent would be a consumer debt.
