What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ(Federal)

In Federal Court, are the arguments from both parties in an injunction hearing public record, or is only the judge's opinion?

In their arguments, the party seeking the injunction is contradicting something they are publicly saying about the "offending" or "defendant" and I would like to know if I can get a copy of what they said in court.

I am sure that your attorney can answer this question for you.

I am sure that your attorney can answer this question for you.
Thank you for taking the time to respond, but that is an answer that will fit any question on these forums.

Why would I post the question if I could just go to "my attorney" and ask them? This does not answer my simple yet specific question. What if I did not have an attorney but was interested in an injunction case? I would like to know what is public record in a non civil/domestic injuntion hearing.

Thanks for your time

Does this relate to a case you are currently involved in? If it does, then I suggest that you need an attorney. If you don't have one, get one.
If this is merely a hypothetical question (doubtful in light of the specificity) then the answer is: We don't DO hypotheticals.

If the court was closed or the case impounded, you won't get a copy of the arguments.

Call the clerk and see if the arguments were recorded or transcribed, and, if so, what is involved in getting a copy. Transcripts are expensive and they don't freely hand them out. There may be a recording that you can buy to determine if you want to go through the process of getting an official transcript.
