I am not an attorney and I don't give legal advice. I watch this forum for military/family members asking for advice and advise them that free legal services are available to them at any military base. And I notice that in many cases rather than the advice they are seeking many posters are attacked as this person was. As for the name "nunya" I submit that most of the people posting here do not use the name that appears on their birth certificate. Rather than being a troll maybe this person simply could not think of another name to use. Benefit of a doubt?

Here is a view from the other side. Check my first post, I have been there. In my case my mind shut down due to the shock and rage of the situation. I was military and I had consulted SJA before but for some reason that never occurred to me. I could not think rationally or logically for at least a year.

I have not hijacked anything and whatever I have done is not for amusement. What I have done is come to the defense of someone who asked for advice but was being personally attacked based on assumptions. If she wants me to butt out I will. Have a nice 4th of July.

It is not your place to respond with anything other than legal advice. People don't come to the site looking for "defenders." Grow up and if you don't have anything constructive to post, then don't post at all. Or didn't your Momma teach you any manners? Your attacking behavior is no less offensive than what has been previously posted.

I am aware that you did not attack anyone and that you requested additional information. I did not name you as one of the persons who attacked the OP.

Thank you for your advice. It is not your place to tell me what my place is! I don’t see you getting in Proserpina’s face for doing, in post #6, virtually the same thing I did. Nor did you tell her to grow up or make disparaging comments about her “momma!” If one of the regular members, who I assume has been “vetted,” can defend a poster against attack, I see no reason why I cannot do the same. I have reviewed the rules and nothing I have done has violated those rules. I do not see anything in the rules which prohibits me or anyone else from defending another member.
