Back to my initial question, can I just remove all information or just suck it up and change the email address.
I already told you--if you have control of the page, you "can" remove all the information. Whether or not you "may" do so is up for a court to decide, should the team decide to sue you.

ETA: By the way, when it comes to Facebook pages, the only real rights belong to Facebook

why would they sue, if I had permission to admin the page, and if I remove all information the page is linked to my email account, so can't i change the name to my name and remove all pictures info etc. and they page is no longer associated with them.

It's not about winning anything.

The scenario is I am a board member, I created this fb page and for 2 years there has been nothing but positive results from it. I update it regularly post alot of information. I have my own personal fb page as well which the 2 have nothing to do with one another, but because I made an inappropiate comment from my personal page on another personal fb page, the higher ups want to remove me as admin from the page. One has nothing to do with the other. So in stripping my rights as admin, they would like me to also change the email address associated with the page.

Back to my initial question, can I just remove all information or just suck it up and change the email address.
Go ahead and be petty. It makes you look like a jerk. It doesn't help the team, and doesn't teach the kids anything worth learning. You'll regret your actions later.

So yes, do go on with your petty little self.

#1, yes I acted as an agent
Then, everything about it that Facebook does not declare as their own, belongs to the group.
2. No
3. No
Then, ignore their wishes. If they're not going to sue, what is your question?

Legally and morally, the work is theirs (outside of that given up to post on Facebook).
