What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? VA

If an individual is given the right to use copyrighted material and that permission is later taken away, can the copyright owner sieze personal property if the copyrighted material has been removed and is not being used?

Your question is entirely too vague to answer.

What is the relationship between the copyrighted material and the personal property?

The copyrighted item is a logo. The logo was stitched onto various articles of clothing. The logo stitching was removed from all personal items and is not being used in any shape, form or fashion. The copyright owner is claiming that the items belong to them and have "requested" that all items be given to them. However, none of the items were purchased by the copyright owner. Can they require personal items no longer bearing their logo be given to them?

No, they cannot. However, you better be prepared to prove that the items no longer contain their logo in case they sue you.
