What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? wisconsin

my ex wife and i got divorced almost 5 years ago and when we were divorced she got a restraining order against me that finally went away. and now she threw she boyfriend of 5 years out. and all of a sudden she is wanting to be lovely dubby with me. in the restoring order she got she was saying i was raping her and beating my kids and stuff. now she is calling me to come over to dinner with her and the kids and to ask me to take her places since she cant drive. she is telling my kids that she wants me to move back in with her, and she told me if i ever need some place to live that i can come stay with her. i am confused on what to do and if i should still try to avoid her as much as possible and only go there when i am suppoesed to pick up my children or what. and is there any thing that i can do about her telling the courts about saying i raped her and now she is wanting me to be over there all the time and stuff? i know that i never did anything that she said i did in the restraining order and its over now but what about the lies she told and stuff?

You don't have a legal issue here. You need relationship advice and we do not provide that at this website.

I don't understand the confusion.

If this women managed to get a restraining order based upon lies (you didn't rape her and beat the kids, right?), why would you even CONSIDER entertaining her presence again?

How old are your kids? Because they'd know the answer to this one as soon as you opened your mouth to ask the question!

Oh - and forget the "can I do anything to her" angle. Just don't go there. 'kay?

Oh you should absolutely move in and be "lovely dubby" with her. A week later, invite a friend over to act as your witness, then call the police and tell them she raped you and beat up the kids. You will get a restraining order against her without any proof of your claims whatsoever. As apparently she did. :rolleyes:Then all will be fair and square.

Of course, if you're sane, you would not even need to ask the question.
