What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

NEVADA - Las Vegas, (to be exact)

I have a question.

My father got deported to Mexico 9 years ago.
Him and my mom have had no communication whatsoever.
While he was in Jail, he had his friends sell our home, cars, etc:

He got arrested for fraud.
and lost his citizenship.

How can my mom get a legal divorce from my father;
being that they haven't talked in 9 years and there is no way to communicate with him

She needs to investigate divorce by publication. Here are the general forms which may be admissible in all counties. She may also need an affidavit of diligent search.

Does she still live in Nevada? Does she actually know where in Mexico your father lives?

If she lives in Nevada and meets residence requirements, she can file for divorce in Nevada.

If she knows where dad lives, or has ANY way in which to contact him or have him served in Mexico, she will need to serve him with the divorce papers.
If she DOESN'T know where dad is, and has had no knowledge of where he is or how to reach him for at least 6 months, she may be able to serve him by publication AFTER having exercised due diligence by making and exhausting all reasonable efforts to locate and serve him.
