What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

In Maine here, how does work. Three siblings inherited property with one building. They are tenants in common. For years each has been contributing to the expenses. Now one sibling wants to put another building on the property. One brother objected. Then the third brother has just sold his "share" to the brother that objected. Now who has control? Is it like the majority "owner" has all the control and say? What are the rights of the sibling that only owns a third and did want to put another structure up? If the two remaining siblings can't agree on anything , do they just go to court to terminate the arrangement and partition the property as the judge sees fit.
Thanks in advance..

What sort of building?

Would local code, applicable title restrictions, easements, recorded right of ways, set back requirements, minimum lot size rules, etc even make the addition of a structure allowable? Do you and he have any clue what restrictions, E&Rs, and local building laws are which would apply? Were it I deaLING WITH THIS, i'D RESEARCH W3HTHER THE DESIRED BUILDING IS EVEN ABLE TO BE BUILT THERE.d be the desired building would interfere with an existing easement of ROW, or violate required setbacks. If so. the building should not go up there, period.
