married in norway & spouse refusing divorce (in california)

California. I am a US citizen. Married in Norway 8 years ago, separated and I came back to US 7 years ago. Have 7 year old child with her. Been in another relationship for 6 years and want to get married but spouse in Norway is refusing divorce and of course using my child against me. Is there anything I can do? I can't afford a lawyer which is why it has gone on for so long.

You can get a divorce BUT California cannot handle ANY property in Norway OR custody/support of the child.
