What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

Can I sue someone(a manager of a dental facility) that told my son that she was sorry that he has this type of mom?

Anyone anywhere can sue anyone for anything.

But you won't win this case.

proserpina what make you think that?
she should not say that to any child no mater what. This case was just because we refused a service.

Because most discrimination is legal.

Unless you were discriminated against because of a protected class - and someone offering their opinion that your parenting is questionable is NOT a protected class - then you have no case.

Okay, never mind.

You refused a recommended service.

The manager (perhaps inappropriately) made a comment.

You were not discriminated against. You were not harassed. You have no damages. You have NO case.

it's sad to know that.
i still think that it's very wrong to say things like that to a child or anyone especially when she acts as a manager.
any advice?

You can absolutely report her to the higher-ups at the facility.

But don't expect anything to happen.

People say inappropriate things all the time. They're generally not actionable.
