For some, a court order is meaningless. They don't care about their credit, or honor, or about being in trouble with the IRS.
I agree...some people will tank their own financial lives just to avoid paying child support.

Same way I plan on getting my child support. Court ordered payments??? I need to do something.
As others have stated, you could win a judgment against him, but collecting would be the hard part. Seizing assets and property, freezing bank accounts and confiscating the funds, payroll garnishment, all could be on the table, but there are difficulties and limitations to all that. I would recommend trying to sweet talk him into selling the house. Failing that, be prepared for a long and heated court battle with little return.
