What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Tennessee

2 months ago I found some relationship damaging texts on my wife's cell phone and made copies of them. Is there any legal ramifications in Tennessee to having these or using them in any eventual divorce proceedings?

And, even if the OP wants to proceed with a divorce on the grounds of adultery, two text messages aren't going to prove it.

I need to know if I disclose I have them (my wife doesn't know I have them) is there anything she can do legally to me for say.....invasion of privacy?

Have you had sex with your wife since then? Have you slept together? Have you lived as man and wife?

Proof she's lying and peace of mind I guess. Emotional times you know.
You have the texts - whether she knows about them or not, they are proof. Or, are you trying to say that you want to catch her in a lie? And, peace of mind? How so?

Bottom line is that the two texts you have are in NO WAY going to prove that your wife has committed adultery.

We have slept in the same bed. She was sporadically staying at our house but is now staying with family.
Yes, I guess I'd like to catch her in a lie. Peace of mind to know I wasn't imagining all this. She is not admitting to an affair but the texts indicate otherwise.

Read the link I posted. It should remove your emotional urges to confess to what is likely a crime in TN.
