Yeah, women can be very giving as long a you aren't divorcing them.

Sounds like the ex-wife may have hidden marital property in a rental storage unit and then couldn't pay the rent.

I figured you were referring to the bird being in storage :p
I believe the article says that the birds cage was in storage. Poor bird, beaten by a woman with a broom. Maybe the woman tried flying like the bird with her broom, crash landed, became enraged and beat the bird with her broom.
