My x and her new husband continue to harrass me. It's well documented and I just want to be left only. Over and above a harrassing communcation report with the police is there an avenue in the legal system to make it stop? Is it grounds to get custody and or more time with my daughter? I have 40% now...and pay too much support....

My xwife has proceeded tell my daughters kindergarden teacher that I had ADD/ADHD. Subsequently the teacher has recommended that the child see a psychiatrist. My xwife fills out the paperwork for this psychiatrist and puts in my medical historty that I'm ADHD. Issue is I'm not. Never have been. So here I am looking like a fool. She also blind copies emails to my daughters friends parents that make me look silly. She manipulates doctors by saying I don't give my daughtrer needed medication and in turn they write a special note to the school nurse to provide mediation to my child during my custody. all lies, making me look bad...

Any ideas other than she's nuts?

There is nothing in YOUR medical record indicating that YOU are ADHD

Even if there was, who would care?

As to the rest, I don't see any of that as harassing. This seems like more of a call and a calm discussion thing than a legal option thing.

So how often have you been in contact with the teacher? The child's psychiatrist? The nurse at the child's school? The child's doctors? How many times have you asked to meet with them or see your child's records? How involved have you been?

Mom isn't treating you well, but if she is not denying your parenting time or otherwise violating any custody agreement then it has nothing to do with custody or child support.

Well yes, she has all the hallmarks of a psychopath. Ask the kindergarden teacher if you can fill out paperwork to recommend she see the same psychiatrist for testing.

While I understand this was a joke, ADD/ADHD seems to have some genetic component as a person is more likely to have it if a family member does. (Some studies say 60-80%) If mom said dad had it, it is reasonable for a teacher to suggest the child should be assessed.

Sorry, but I'm with dad on this.

If a DOCTOR said dad had it, it is reasonable for a teacher to suggest the child should be assessed.

MOM is clearly a trouble maker.

It's reasonable for the teacher to suggest an evaluation based on the teacher's observations of the child.

MOM is clearly a trouble maker.
On THIS we can agree :)

While I agree mom may be a piece of work, if a parent told a knowledgeable teacher that a close relative had it, it is reasonable for the teacher to recommend evaluation. Especially if there is some sign of it in the child. An recommendation of evaluation is not a diagnosis and the teacher would be remiss if he treated the student differently from an unsubstantiated mention of familial ADHD, but the correlation is so strong statistically it really should be mentioned.

I agree with OG that her questions are important ones.

A teacher, a child psychiatrist, a nurse or a doctor are less likely to believe nonsense about a parent if they have regular contact with the parent about whom the nonsense is being told.

And refusing to administer the child's prescribed medication is doing your child no favors - mom was absolutely right to take steps to make sure she would get her meds at school. Whether YOU have ADHD or not, it seems her doctors have diagnosed her with it. Refusing to acknowlege or treat her problems won't make them go away, it just makes you a craptastic parent. Your first post showed everyone all you REALLY care about (how much support you're paying).

Are people to assume that if someone is paying too much support, they shouldn't care at all about that or speak about it?
