Did anyone catch this? OP turned in his PA license to get the KS license. So how is it that he still HAD the PA license to give to California DMV?
Of course CA DMV did not see a problem when OP applied for a license - because there was no DUI record on that license. But what I want to know is how they did not catch that KS had already cancelled the PA license in order for OP to get the KS license?
I am also wondering what the timeframe was here between license changes:
- When was the PA license turned in to obtain the KS license?
- How soon thereafter was the KS license suspended for the DUI?
- How soon after that did OP come to CA and apply for a license there?
- How long has it been since OP has had their CA license to date?
IMHO, I think it's just a matter of time that this web of deception catches up with OP. I think he may have played hard and fast with the licensing changes in an attempt to keep each state in line from finding out about his prior issues.
