Really? You don't think a judge would be more peeved woth the party who ties up time in court for "but but but my HORRIBLE stbx is painting a room! And you said she's not allowed to renovate!!!"

Do we even know what color she's painting it? I'd so laugh if it was the same color or a neutral.

Really - this is as silly as the CP who asked us if she should go after her ex for contempt over $25.
Everyone is allowed their day in court. That shouldn't be a reason to get a burr in one's back side. Court's should not forget who pays their salary and who THEY serve.

I'm afraid, Bali, that you are showing everyone - including OP - how you ended up with the lousy deal you got in your divorce. If you handled things in this manner throughout? You likely had the judge so ticked off, s/he wasn't giving you an inch of leeway. Sorry.

OP - I hope you heed to advice to let this go.

ETA: Note, Bali. I am NOT giving you a hard time. But I do think sometimes you are your own worst enemy. :(
