What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ca
My current gf gave the ex the proper notice that she will take her two week vacation(requires 2 weeks but more like a month in advacne notice is given). Notification was done through email in order to attach itineraries and contacts per the parent agreement. Within a minute the ex furiously responds that he doesn't want to give the weeks because he wants the same weeks as well. He said that he was working on an email to notify us when he received our email. The agreement clearly doesn't state that anyone needs to ask for approval of the vacation weeks, as long 2 week advance notification is given. And in the itinerary we show prepaid expenses that we already made(hotels, tickets, etc). The ex claims to have also paid for expenses and that his itinerary is also ready and what, but nothing was ever provided other than the complaining. He said he is going to cry to his attorneys about it. What exactly can they do? Just seems odd that he cries about wanting the weeks we notify him of as soon as he got the email.
