What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Montana
Ex has a middle name that can be spelled a couple of different ways. And he told me that he wasn't sure how it was spelled on his birth certificate (ex: Bryan vs. Brian)
So, I can't recall when we got married how it was registered/recorded when we got married (almost 20 years ago, in a different state). Our divorce decree didn't use middle names, just my middle initial. (divorce was in MT)
Yes, I'm paranoid, but is there any way divorce was not valid???
(I only thought of this when I saw the wedding announcement for his recent marriage, and he did use the full spelling of his middle name)
