I am betting that going to the cop's "department," being loud when filing a complaint, showing how pissed he is and expressing his intent to cause a stink, will not go too well for Weaverwelder.

It is certainly not the smartest way to handle a traffic ticket.

Quincy was wrong to state that the cop's speed was not relevant to your defense. It is very relevant. My advice is clearly much smarter than just pleading guilty when there are viable defenses available.

No, Quincy was right. Your suggestion is that the OP appear and profess his guilt as part of his defense. That's what is wrong.

I read your post. Your suggestion amounts to: But judge, the cop was doing 70 in a 55 zone, so it was obviously safe for ME to do 70 in a 55 zone.
