Is it normal for a mortgage company to send someone to the home to leave past due notice on my door, when I am only 2 months behind? My mortgage company Is out of Arizona, and I live in a small rural town in Minnesta

You aren't paying as promised. Of course they can leave a past due notice.

I absolutely agree, but it is a bit odd for a past due notice to get left on the door. Service for a foreclosure yes, a simple past due notice, a bit odd.
